Just curious what others keep on their wish list!

Right now I've been looking at Hub/Wheel Bearing Tools. Torn between the OTC and SIR set. I'm thinking the OTC in case I want to get the Air Over Hydraulic Set add on at some point.

Here's the set in action on the same car I DD.

I'm very seriously thinking about gathering up about 99 assorted beat-to-**** screwdrivers, donating the usable ones, and replacing the lot with a nice new set. I'm thinking Tekton's big set.

Honestly, not much else I really need at this point. But my motley screwdriver collection has been ******* me off.

A modest goal, but it's a goal.

My Amazon tool wishlist is full of weird stuff...

I'm thinking seriously about one of those Gearwrench sets of every 10mm socket variant they make. Do I need it? No. Is it really cool? Yes.

Rubber-lined zip ties are a hell of a great idea, so they're on my list, but I can't think of an actual use.

At some point, I might pull the trigger on a nice set of snap ring pliers. I absolutely detest those replaceable tip things.

Vampliers would make a nice stocking stuffer...

Tools I want but would never expect (aka won't even ask, but can dream) to get:

Bosch Miter Saw w/ Gravity Rise Stand
Bosch 10amp Angle Grinder
Milwaukee 3/8" Stubby Impact
HF 26" Chest (to mount my CM drill press on)

Tools I Put On The List:

Wilde Wrenches of various types
Nice Push broom for the garage
Grinding wheels for my newly aquired block grinder
Maybe a new SAE wrench set

I really want to upgrade to a 44"-ish toolbox. Maybe the HF model. It's just hard to justify because I just bought a second 26" two years ago. Damn this place and it's tool-peer-pressure and enabling! LOL, anybody's fault but mine!

I'm still growing my collection, so lots of things, but my short list is as follows:

HF 44" roll cab
M18 mid torque
M12 stubby 3/8, along with the Sunex 3/8 Metric master set
Gearwrench 3/8 and 1/4 socket set
Lots of Wera screwdrivers
Lots of Knipex pliers and mini-boltcutters
Milwaukee Packout boxes
Brake caliper press tool
Some sort of sound system for the garage.

A good lot of that will be put on hold for the next while, as I buckle down and save up to buy my own place with hopefully a very large garage. I guess that's number 1 on my wish list right now, as I hate renting.

Makita 18v trim router and orbital sander are next on my list of power tools to get.

I could use more m12 batteries.

I'd like a set of Cobras.

A set of wire rope nut/bolt thread checkers sure would come in handy.

Overall, I have been slowly upgrading each hand tool to higher quality versions, so that's a bunch there.

Oh, and how about a bigger tool box?

The new Craftsman tape measure. I can read the scale with my old eyes, and it has an 11 foot standout. Sure do get frustrated with floppy tape measures with a scale I can barely read.

Not necessarily a tool but a garage or someplace to work on things. Tired of building stuff in the middle of my living room.

I know the feeling. I have two barns, but they both need serious work. One I think needs to be torn down and rebuilt. The other probably needs to be burned and rebuilt.

OEMTools copied the SIR set:

https://amzn.to/2TsKxJC

Its the same as a master SIR set, but much cheaper.

I saw that too! Another option is also using a slide hammer to remove the hub and get the Astro wheel bearing set. Car is a 911 that's lived in CA its entire life. I think I should be able to get away with just that too.

30t press.
IR air Hammer kit in case.
IR air die grinder kit in case.
18V Ridgid 1/2” impact gun.
Stick/Tig machine.
Plasma Cutter.
Oxyacetylene set up.
Milling Machine that my buddy is selling.
Portable LED lights for under the truck.
Hooks to hang air hose and electrical cords (110 and 220).
All the missing sockets and wrenches.

Guess all in all I need a long term job so I can buy all this as I need to.

I'd like to add a 12 inch disc sander to my wood shop but even the cheap ones are expensive and I've heard horror stories on the one from Harbor Freight.

I could also get a lot of use out of a spindle sander.

I've got pretty much all the hand tools I could ever need and still keep buying when I see deals so I'm more than set there.

Wouldn't mind a couple Japanese pull saws.

Always need more clamps even though I'm running out of places to hang them

I would love a DeWalt cordless track saw and a Bosch 6" DA sander. Both of them are currently in the waiting for a project that justifies purchasing them category.

Otherwise I really need to commit to building the new shop before i build any interest in tools.. Trying to convince myself oil isn't going to crash right after I blow a good chunk of my savings is tough though

I hope to find the 'right' used truck soon. I consider it to be a tool. Same goes for a used zero-turn. More in line with GJ, I want a HF 5 drawer in yellow.

I want a jigsaw, drill press, and a nice tool box/chest. I’m in the process of replacing much of my existing cheap, just-out-of-college tools with better tools and would like a nice place to store them versus my old tool chest.

M18 grease gun. Putting a lot more time on our tractors & similar, getting tired of manual grease guns. I figure I will be more inclined to do it on a regular basis too.
