I've searched the forum on this but got no hits.

I found a Dayton G74, and to my untrained eye I cannot see the difference between it and the ever popular G73.

DAYTON ELECTRIC UTILITY HEATER MODEL G74
• FOR PRIMARY OR SUPPLEMENTAL HEATING INGARAGES, STORES, WORKSHOPS, WAREHOUSES, ETC.
• AREA HEATING CAPACITY UP TO 500 SQUARE FEET.
• REQUIRES HARD-WIRING TO POWER SOURCE (30A CIRCUIT).
• SINGLE PHASE. 60 HZ. 240 / 208 VOLTS. 5KW. 20.9AMPS AC.
• 17,100 MAX BtuH (12,600 AT 208 VOLTS).
• STEEL HOUSING WITH BAKED ENAMEL FINISH. LIGHTGRAY COLOR.
• ADJUSTABLE LOUVERS. HORIZONTAL AND DOWNFLOW.
• BUILT-IN THERMOSTAT AND AUTOMATIC FAN DELAY.
• INCLUDES CEILING / WALL MOUNTING BRACKET.
• DIMENSIONS (H x W x D INCHES): 12 1/2 x 14 x 11 1/4 (NOT INCLUDING BRACKET).
• WEIGHT: 25LB

The G74 appears to cost a lot less money ($188 including shipping). See the following link:

My apologies if I missed something obvious. Any advice would be appreciated.

G74 is 208 only, don't ask how I know. And when I do burn out the heating element the G73 208/240 element is only $70, and it is the only part that is different between the 2.
