What's the difference between these two 8" Knipex bolt cutters

the one with the comfort grip handles is also spring loaded to open.

Yeah I saw that and it's cheaper too (by $2) but I can't tell what the round thing does. I guess I'm wondering if one is the better/improved design than the other?

the round thing is the lock to keep it closed. you turn it to open.

Ah ok, thanks. I thought some folks here would have more info on them. I'll do a little more digging around on the 'net and see but looks like either one will be fine.

I actually bought both of them. One for me and another for my dad. I gave him the spring loaded ones and I actually like them better. They're easier to use if you're trying to do three things at once.
