It's Sears... There is no rhyme or reason to the difference. In fact, I'd be willing to bet that Sears doesn't even know... :lol:

I don't think there is any difference but just a different Sears # for the "same" set; this happens at the store sometimes. They will have one set; one will get "repackaged" with a different part # and be priced differently; it could be a promotional item or who knows what! Needless to say, buy the cheaper one! These are the one of the Craftsman ratchets that are the best that they sell at the moment (aside from the old school fine tooth models) and if you must buy craftsman, buy these!

Oy, we've been through this question several times on the board already!

This is my theory:

One set is catalog-order only, for $80, possibly minus 10% catalog coupon.

The other set is listed as $99, but is on sale for $80, and sometimes even a bit less.

Notice, the $80 set isn't available at any local stores for pick-up...

There might be a difference in packaging as well. Maybe the $80 set consists of the three individually packaged ratchets while the in-store set comes in a 3-ratchet tray.
