What's the preferred lift anchor type now?

Which brand and model of anchor are most of you all using for your lift installs?

I've got the C7000 that can be moved around pretty easily and I'd like to set two new locations in my shop for it. Concrete should be 5" in most places but I've got a section of my concrete running the width of the shop that's 8" thick and I'll be setting at least two locations up in that area.

I'm guessing everyone is still in favor of properly installed epoxy anchors, but I'm not totally sure if that assumption is right.

I think equally important might be to hear which brand you all went with and now regret using...so feel free to share that information as well.

I used the Wej-It wedge anchors that came with the lift.

I use stainless anchor inserts with bolts. That way I can remove the bolt later to have a clear floor, and reinstall if needed. I ensured the pull out capacity is adequate for my needs.

I went to Fastenal for mine. They are 3/4" wedge anchors... Red Head I think.

Mine is also held down with 3/4" red head wedge anchors.

Use a wedge anchor from a reputable manufacturer that publishes test specs!

If you plan to move the lift from one place to another (that looks awfully heavy...) then I would use the type of anchor used with the Max Jax:

^ These will keep a good bite in the concrete (you would need multiple sets) and then be flush when you remove the lift.

You wouldn't want to completely remove the anchors every time as it will eventually polish/grind the inside of the hole and you could loose holding power.
