What's the Prospect Now for USA-Made Tools?

Now that the election is over, what's the Prospect now for new USA-Made Tools? Is there a chance that we'll see significant price cuts in USA-made tools, thus making it easier for the typical consumer / DIY'er to regain access to the tools they once embraced at retail stores? (like Sears, Home Depot, and Lowes)

Can this restore the period of the good old days of Craftsman USA, Husky USA, Kobalt USA, NAPA USA, KD Tools, Apex / Danaher?

I doubt this thread will last long. Until things change, I don't see things changing. The bigger problem is too many don't care where something is made. Many people won't pay $10 more for a ratchet made in USA when there is a perfectly good ratchets for their needs at HF.

I just felt that bringing back manufacturing job as well as industrial jobs and such back to the Rust Belt (which played a significant role in deciding this year's election) may help in regainning the momentum and motivation needed to manufacture US-made tools at a relatively competitive price
