From what I've read, they are made by Waterloo. Anyone have an idea on used price?

From what I see, I wouldn't go more then $300 on the lot. The box is nothing special and it looks to be filled with **** tools.

Yeah, wasn't really interested in the tools, unless he threw them in cheap I was just interested in the box.

I hate it when sellers don't post prices, or did I miss seeing the price?

I was going to say $500... the tools are worth maybe $100 to me if you can't bother to say WTF they are. I figured $400 for rebranded Waterloo top & bottom would be fair.. but $200 sounds better. I paid $300 for my "Husky" pair, and it had a 40" top drawer in the roll cab, unlike this one.

Wow I wish we had prices like 300 bucks for a top and bottom Cornwell. Some times the prices that people say they would pay for things just seems rude. I know its just me and the area I live in does not get the prices some of you are paying. Around Iowa that box would sell for no less than 600 and probably the asking price is around 800 to 1200.

I have to agree Syntax, if I were to run across tools in my area, trust me, you pay for it. That's mostly why I buy new, the used market ***** around here. Just get onto the eastern Kentucky Craigslist. Most everything you find is almost retail! I do know when you go farther north you get better deals as I have a lot of family in Ohio that keeps an eye out for me and it's amazing to me what people will let good tools go for.

:+1: Nope, Bubba is just fishing for offers. I agree with Bob, almost certain that is a 18" standard box. I'd check it out in person to evaluate condition. I have a feeling it has had a hard life and shows it. :dunno:

I don't know about the value of the boxes, but I should listen to the experts about the **** quality of the tools, why, I can almost see the re branded CRAPCO markings. Ken.

People are more often then not unrealistic on prices for tools and toolboxes on CL. Craftsman boxes are the worse offenders. Guys will list homeowner boxes that were $80 brand new for $200. Stuff like that is so common, it is not even laughable. As for the Cornwell box, the Cornwell names doesn't bring anything to the table. It is a waterloo made box, same as craftsman and $300 is about what I'd pay for a 40" used craftsman.
