What's this P&C Tools for?

Not sure what it is, but it appears that the end with the "wings" has been either cut off or sanded down.

It's an offset screwdriver. I found a similar one in the 1926 catalogue here: http://pnctools.com/downloads/1926.pdf with a model number of 175. Yours looks like a 172. I'm working my way to the catalogue posted by Cypherian

It is supposed to be bent, so there's nothing wrong with yours.
It's a model #172 P&C Single End Offset Screwdriver. Size 3/8". Price in 1936 $.70

I see what the bend is for now, instead of putting one of the blades at a 45 degree angle, they just bent the handle instead. You flip it over to get a new angle on it if you have limited room to rotate it.
