howdy all, here is what I'm working with. Looking to coat the floors, cover the walls with drywall or something, paint the walls, get some more cabinets, and set up a welding area for the new Lincoln precision 225 TIG thats in the mail

Looks great...I fixed up two shops like that..hung dragesters off the ceiling..etc. I would not drywall any of that in Houston....Go to the metal building company and buy ribbed metal that you can install from the floor to your last wall beam from the roof. All you need is L channel for the floor so you have something two screw the bottom to..metal building company has this as well. I used a Hilti gun to shoot the L iron down then put the white ribbed pannels up... I did one in white..worked out great...also you can put more insulation if you want...does the shop have AC? if not get a dehumidifer...otherwise one or two weeks this summer you will open your door up to the intire shop having a mist of water on everything..*****...been there done that..and if you have new tools it will drive you nuts. Great start!! look foward to seeing pic's as you go..

on your recommendation and some research I am going to use ribbed metal, just trying to find the least ribbed stuff now.

The shop has a big NG heater but no a/c, so temps are 68*F at the lowest, but gets up to 110+ in the summer I would like to add A/C but the cost to keep it cool (not cold just cool enough to prevent damage to stuff sitting inside) worries me. I have considered just adding a ventilation system to keep it ambient at maximum

I have been in the shop for 5 years and the only place I have seen condensation is dripping from the skylights
