Sup guys, found this forum from the Tools in Action forum, figured I'd check it out. Names Jimbo, I live in the south Chicago burns, I'm a firefighter and a butcher, heck of a combination I know. Pretty avid tool guy/diy. I do a lot of side jobs mostly handyman work.

Hi and welcome aboard Jimbo you are right there when you say a heck of a combination good to see that you are multi skilled. I guess being a firefighter would come in handy when you are cooking a roast.

Hey Jimbo, Welcome to the GJ!
I grew up in Hegewisch and my dad was a engineer on the engine 57, the fireboat, Uncle a fireman on engine 97.
One thing nice about being a fireman, you work 24 hours straight, then have 48 hours off!
Plenty of time to tinker...and if you throw a "Daily" into the mix, you can have 5 days off in a row! Dad spent his days working on cars in the garage and playing golf.
