For all the talk about how ****** Chinese made tools are and how pissed off we are about U.S. companies moving manufacturing over there, there are some tools that I think actually perform just fine.

I have a set of SAE and Metric Stanley 3/8" Drive 6-point Deeps that I use quite regularly, right along with my U.S. SK, Proto, SO, Armstrong, Wright, and PB Pro ratchets, and they haven't failed me yet. After reading a lot of the threads on here, I actually look forward to using them as much as possible just to see when they will actually fail. We'll see.

What are your favorite Chinese tools???

Grizzly G0602 lathe. Not the greatest, but seems to be a good hobbyist lathe.

Makita 18v LXT cordless tools

I'm sure there's others I like but that's what comes to mind right off.

By far, this was such a great deal at $200. Should have bought it a decade ago.

My current favorite Chinese tools are the Ryobi 18 volt cordless tools - definitely the most bang for the buck. No problems yet, got the first drill 3 years ago from the flea market for $5, still using it. Now I have a 2nd used drill, and a brand new one, plus the 1/4" impact. Just picked up the 18v leaf blower kit (P2180) last summer, and I am really happy with it. I'm saving my pennies to buy the 1/2" impact, maybe later this year.:evil::thumbup: (Just to be clear, I am using these tools at home on home projects only.)

Wherever they are made, its still Chinese design not much improved in 6000 years.
Best tool ever invented for noodles. A fork doesn't come close. They don't need knives because food is cut to size before serving. It sounds like a more advanced approach than the West.

I would say my HF angle grinder, I really don't have many other things. The day I brought it home I took it apart and greased it and inspected everything, I still don't know how they can sell it for $10... Their Hercules grinder is regularly $35 and leagues better, I might buy that too.
Right now, I’m torn between these two...

I just opened my jack tonight and the casters aren't the same length so it won't sit level... otherwise it would be on my list also. QC stuff happens, one caster is probably for the other model.

was gonna say chopsticks too, but really it's my wok.

pretty sure the plow disc I used was made in China, as is the repurposed stand, and definitely the turkey fryer burner...
