I have a streamlight PolyStinger led, the price was steep but I love the light. I actually prefer it over my maglight led. Plus the car charger that I've never used was a cool feature.

Milwaukee M12 LED stick light for me. Not the cheapest option, but most practical since I always have a few spare M12 batteries charged and ready to go. Wouldn't consider a light without a swappable battery, who has time to wait for a recharge midway through a job? And by sticking with the batteries I already have that's one less proprietary charger to keep track of.

I also have a blue point model of the first one you posted, its nice for working under dashes and anything steel you can stick it to, but short of that i don't prefer it, it offers a lot of lighted area, but not a lot of light in one area kinda thing.

I'm currently using the ATD scorpion slim flex head, got it from our tool truck guy a few weeks ago. Magnetic base, sucker is BRIGHT. the combo of magnetic base and the head puts light where you need it.

Only downside is the charger port is a USB style, so it is a weak link.

I have a blue point slim light that I really like. Very bright and although does not have a magnet, it is still very handy to have around

You guys are wasting so much money on streamlights! Nitecore is way cheaper and way brighter. I've had mine for a year and it's been dropped over 100 times and still shines as bright as day one. Rechargeable plug in. $80 for 860 lumens, I'll definitely take that! But now they have a 960 lumens for only $60 and it's even smaller. But the best magnet led I would say is the blue point flex led. 500 lumens and the magnet is pretty strong.

Blue point magnetic rechargable with swivel handle/hook. The surface resists grease well and a full charge will last many hours.

Streamlight is a very popular around here.
Can someone post a link to the exact product you're referring to?
However, I am not referring to a flashlight (or fleshlight, either)
I meant a passive, maybe magnetic, light that is on while you're working with both hands.

Oh, I mentioned Streamlight as well. It's not rechargeable but I a have a Blue Point LED "puck" light. It might as well be rechargeable for I haven't changed the 3 AA's in over year. Super bright, magnetic base, does a great job.

I have many lights the one I really I like right now is called monster lights lime green I have two different ones 750 lumens and I'm not sure on the other one

The Monster Compact Rechargeable LED Pocket Light , No. MSTILITE1, looks similar to a smart phone with its sleek, sophisticated, and compact design allowing users to take it anywhere. The MSTILITE1 has an adjustable, magnetic base that allows for multiple working positions. The super bright, adjustable 24 SMD LED provides 30-150 Lumen and up to

200 SMD LED Rechargeable Underhood Light.

I don't think there's anything M18 that's really good for under car work. But, if you bought Fuel stuff, you have the dual voltage charger... and M12 batteries are stupid cheap on ebay. I just bought my 3rd M12 stick light there for $60 as well. I used to have 2 more, 1 went ??? and I left the other under a hood. :( Awesome lights.

Another vote for M12.

I have both the LED flashlite and Sticklight. Really bright lights, the light beam is sharp and defined. Compact & durable have dropped them many times. No need to wait to charge just swap battery. A fellow at work has the bluepoint posted, it does not focus the beam to see anything. Could not give me the BP.
