1: Very small ball pien hammer. It's about 7 inches long, with a knurled metal handle. I use it more than any other tool in my box.
2: Snap-on gasket scraper; 12-inch long with a screwdriver handle.
3: Belt/disc sander conversion for my bench grinder. SOooooo much better than a regular bench grinder. Shape metal, dress chisel and punches...it's on at least once every time I step in my shop.
4: Mac 24-inch long 3/4-drive ratchet. By the time this tool comes out, the offending fastener's minutes are numbered. It will either relent or break, but one way or the other it is coming off. It's never failed to get the job done.
5: Decimal/fractional inch dial indicator from Highland Hardware. Sometimes I need decimal, frequently I need fractional. Nice to have them on one face.

It is hard to choose but I have a fondness for snap on ratchets.

I love my 1/2" drive impact wrench, my breaker bar and gear puller. I don't like working hard and these guys make life so much easier.

My #1 would have to be my 8x14 Lathemaster lathe and all the tooling I have for it. It's all my pride and joy.

Runner up is my blast cabinet. Again, I don't like working hard.

Now taht was different.

Yes, I'm somewhat off topic, I admit it. However, if you are interested in tools you carry with you all the time, there's a group of people who are really into that...they're called "EDC" buffs ... Every Day Carry. Check out the EDC Forum. Multi-tools, flashlights, keychain tools, what to carry in your car or your bug-out-bag, etc. Rather McGyverish, but fun.
