That *****. Hopefully I have better luck with it or they'll be getting it back in pieces.I bought an identical one for $12. It broke within minutes of playing around with it.![]()
Surprisingly no matter how hard it seems to avoid I’ve never actually cut a wire doing this thousands of times, but this would definitely be mentally helpful and probably moreso in certain areas with tightly packed wires and not a lot of room or visibility for the cutters
Menda Wire Threader.
I believe it's a tool developed for aircraft techs, but it's a cheap but indispensable tool for anyone who ever needed to open up a wire harness (slip this under the tape and cut against the 'V' in this tool to eliminate the threat of cutting any wires) or squeeze a wire though an existing wire loom clip or zip tie, etc.
If you're willing to up the budget you can get the likes of 'Karl Storz' (real medical grade) off ebay. That *****. Hopefully I have better luck with it or they'll be getting it back in pieces.![]()
"Automatic" wire stripper. I have the same one laying around somewhere. What is the middle mechanism all about?
Neat tool! I just found this Japanese YouTube video demonstrating the tool. You should make on in English.
As others have previously stated, one of my favorite unique tool that I’ve now had for a few years is the Merry HS175C disconnect/connect plier tool.
Back then at the time I first came across them I was kinda skeptical about them but once I actually started to use them, that was it. I was hooked!
Glad I got them. You may not use them all the time but they sure do come in handy when called for and makes life a little bit easier IMHO.
