I got this tool in a box from an auction and not sure what it's purpose is. The black rod slides through the chrome handle and the tips are interchangeable. It almost seems like a small slide hammer.

Also looks like a guide/pilot for a reamer. I used to have a few reamers with them; actually gave them away to someone on GJ a while back.

X2. There's one in my grandpa's old tool box. He was a mechanic at a Chevy dealership in the 60s and 70s. Most clutch kits come with a specific tool these days, so I have a ton of them hanging off my toolbox at work.

Tim I also have several of the plastic ones like yours but hadn't used or seen a universal tool like the one I posted.
