I bought an old Craftsman jointer from a friend, and he threw a couple of extra pieces in that he wasn't sure belonged to the jointer. After a little research, I don't think they belong to the jointer, but I don't know what they are.

1. A black piece of plastic with a long bolt through it that looks like a spacer of some sort?

2. A cast iron lever with a little white face that is calibrated from plus to minus 10 (degrees, I assume?). There is a small splined shaft sticking out of the white face to insert into something. It appears to be an adjustment lever of some sort, and is painted gray, similar to a Delta power tool.

Any help with an ID on these is appreciated

The piece with the dial looks like it could be for precisely setting the height of the joiner knives.

Designs for setting knife/cutter height vary.
Some are magnetic.

The other piece looks like a micro fence gauge, for precisely adjusting or repeatedly adjusting a component that ran on dovetails.

Thank you, Gentlemen! I was able to find the manual for the knife gauge. That will come in handy. The jointer came with an extra new set of knives.

#1 goes on a router table - I thought it looked familiar and found mine. I'll take a look later and see how it mounts.

Edit - dug my manual out and it's a push block. It slides on the fence and allows you to run the edge of a board through - secures it upright for you.
