Need help looking for a bolt and nut that typically comes with a wheel bearing press kit.

Example kit:

Just looking for the bolt and nut, and not sure what they're actually called so having a hard time searching. I have the harbor freight set, and the adapters work well enough but the bolt /nut will strip, so I'm looking to find stronger replacements from a reputable manufacturer. No luck at lowes or home depot either.

They callout that bolt as grade 8.

If you picked up allthread in the right size and grade 8 (or the metric equivalent) and a handful of flange nuts (jam 2 together to make a "bolt" and a thrust bearing, you should be set. I have picked up allthread from zoro. The bearing will be a little tougher to find, and probably isn't mandatory for your tool.

Chevy, I see what you're saying, that's just a little more DIY than I wanna get for a work tool. Pilot, looks like 'forcing screw' is what I'm looking for. That one you linked might be too short for me but I see OTC has a longer one from a different tool set.

I think that nut you linked will work with this, need to check thread pitch and such.

I think you should post the length and thread pitch you need. People can find pictures of of puller screws screws all day long but if they are the wrong size what is the point? In the picture you posted, the screw seems to have a plain, blunt point and does not require the special centering point found on puller screws. That tip changes them from generic screw to,expwnsive replacement part.Just google " full thread, grade 8 screw, length x pitch" If it is metric it will be "class 9.8" for a high strength bolt. Since you are replacing the nut and bolt, whatever FINE pitch size fits closely through the presser plates will work. Be sure to lube the threads well on your new bolt or you might be out shopping again. Moly lube is best for the high loads on the rhreads

You should post your location, some of us have some on hand and could part with a short piece like that.
