I've got the older Harbor Freight ones and they work great, even on the my rough and cracked concrete floor. I'm usually working on lighter cars 2500-3000lbs.

I bought these because they are all mechanical like the nicer Go-Jacks. I read some reviews on chinese hydraulic ones that mentioned leakage and other issues. The mechanical ones just use a ratchet action like an old bumper jack, not much to fail on them.

How heavy of vehicles?

I roll sub 3000lb cars around my rough shop floor on harbor freight wood dollys. The ones that come up for like 7.99 on sale. They dont roll out of the box, but once lubed I can move a car by myself. I think I broke 2 but there very cheap to replace.

I have the grey HF with metal wheels. My slab is old, cracked, not level, and heavily pitted. I store my 2100lb race car on it. The car moves around without too much effort. The metal wheels do mark up the concrete. If you have a nice floor, you may want to look into rubber casters instead.

I have 4 of the HF mech ones, purchased about 9 months ago with a $59.95 @ coupon.
Have a decent concrete garage floor and they move my cars (fairly light 28-41 type around easily. I was a little concerned about the plastic roller the tires go against but so far no problems. I don't leave up once moved so the tires don't take a set from the rollers.

Like the man says, the furniture dollies are rated at 1200 lbs and have worked well for me..
