i want a 42" US General roller.
All the time. Like seriously every, single, week. But not everything is on sale. The 56" and 72" are on sale right now, but not the 42".

Here's a link to the HF Price tracker so you can see when it has gone on sale recently, for how much, and you can even set an alert for the next time the price drops.

that's for the encouragers. if i had the room, i would opt for the 56er, but alas . . . .

i'mma gonna try the tracker link and hopefully save a couple of bucks, even if it's only the sales tax amount.

Honestly if you have enough time to spare get a 25% off no exclusion coupon and use it. You could make a second HF account with another phone number and email and buy one thing on it and then don’t use ever again and in 3 to 6 months your prob going to get a 25% off coupon emailed to you. That happened to me.

I already made the jump and knew shortly afterwards, they would go on sale.
I passed the last time they went on sale this summer. Still on the fence but after seeing your new set up I think I am going to go for it. I have a series 1 44”, the drawer add on, and the 5 drawer cart now. Thinking of switching it up and getting all the user tools in the 56” and cart, and setting up the power drawer. I kept my impacts on a cleat type rack out but think the drawer may be a better long term setup get some other tools out on the wall.

If it’s within 90 days and you ask nicely, they may be able to accommodate a return of the roll cab and a repurchase at the lower price. (No need to bring the roll cab back, of course) “Technically” they’re not supposed to do it but I’ve never had anyone refuse me before.

For the money at play, it might worth a shot.

I doubt they will, it was a purchase using a HF card and got the extra benefits from the initial use.

Boxes are paid for and I knew what I was buying and fine with the price.

Up to you, all they can say is “no” ;) Glad your happy w your new setup

For anyone else reading who bought something only to find out it went on sale shortly thereafter - dont be afraid to ask if they can do a price adjustment. My local stores are always happy to accommodate (within 90 days of purchase)

Very true.

I'm just unsure if I can get over there on the 23rd with my work schedule. Such is life.

Just to close this up, bought a 56” today, but have to wait until more stock comes in. I actually passed a gentleman leaving with the 56 inch slate gray in the back of his truck as I was pulling in. Guess he got the last one in stock. I was good for blue or gray, but all they had was red and yellow left by the time I got there I’ll post pictures and show your toolbox thread once I get it.

I got a gray 56" this morning. They had 3 in stock and I was 2nd in line. Guy in front of me got gray, 2 people behind me got white and black, guy 5th in line got the last gray. Worked out great.
