About a year ago I picked up a 1/2 inch drive Snap-On set on ebay for about $30 which seemed to be a pretty good deal and it came with some odd fractional sizes that always seem to be the ones that come in handy. Consists of a set of 12pt sockets (10 or 12 in all if I remember) and a 45 degree offset head breaker bar called a "Nut Spinner" (which has come in handy more than once when my 15 inch Snap-On ratchet wouldn't get the job done, and a breaker bar with a standard head didn't allow me to turn the fasteners anywhere) the set also had a Plomb universal joint. Came in a black metal case that says "Snap-On Chicago" on the top. Any ideas exactly how old this set would be? I could check the code numbers on the sockets if it would be at all helpful, though I do know the 19/32 is SW150 as I broke it using a cheater bar trying to remove a rusted on shock bolt. Snap-On said they'd replace it with the closest metric equivilant since that size was no longer stocked so I tracked down and purchased the proper replacement to complete the set. Besides having a stray metric Snap-On socket wouldn't do much good as I'm pretty sure all the Snap-On stuff I own is all SAE and 6pt at that. Most of that stuff is from the 60s and for the most part looks newer in design than this set does. Well if anyone has any info on exactly how old this set might be I'd appreciate it.
