When is to cold to work with PEX?

Suject line pretty much says it all. I started the process of finding a concrete guy back in August, it wasn't untill last week that I finally had a quote on the cost. I'm not worried about pouring cement in cold weather, but what about putting the pex down. Making bends etc. How cold can it be till it's to cold to work with?

Keep the tubing in a warm area before you go out to lay it, will help alittle.

I've done it in the cold . Theres nothing against it, but it is alot tougher to manipulate and handle. Still doable though..

Technically your pex bends would be minimal.. large curls.. and the cold would be ok.
If you are attempting to make very tight curls, or avoiding to purchase 90* elbows, then that could be typical to require heat right at the time of the bend (no matter what the weather.
I have always used the proper crimps and elbows for those tight turns.
Many people apply heat for tight bends, which may be acceptable today, but years ago, my pex documentation highly discouraged tight bends (no mention of heat).
