I bought this saw years ago, probably cut over 1k 6x6s with it. This is one of those tools that probably will not go cordless, it's heavy enough. If you want clean cuts in 6" timber this is the tool. It's a little rough looking but after I'm done with the current project it'll get cleaned up. There are just some tools that need to be corded.

I had to disassemble a piano recently. My little 1/4 impact was struggling with the tuning pins. I was turning them, but it was getting hot and eating through batteries quick. I had pulled about 40 of them, and there were like 200 more to go. I switched to my trusty old two-handed Black and Decker 1/2" corded drill to pull the rest. It ripped them right out, no sweat. Plus, I got the benefit of not going deaf from the impact chatter on a giant cast-iron piano harp, lol. Sometimes you just gotta go back to old-school.

Makita makes a 10" cordless

I dont think the volume is there to justify a cordless at 16-5/16, but I also don't think the platform justifies it as the saw isn't getting moved around a lot anyway.
I was kidding about the cordless, it's not a high volume tool, but when cutting alot of 6x6 ties it's a pleasure. Although my arm and shoulder are starting to feel sore and I didn't start yet.
