During the build of my place, one of the photos came out looking like the building had camo siding, in reality it was just the sunlight thru the trees in early December that did it.

What is the point of this stuff?

If you put it on the outside you cover it up with siding or something, if you put it on the inside, what exactly are you hiding from? :dunno:

Cool, but it isn't really functional. Just for looks. For the types of guys that drive big jacked up 1 Ton 4X4 diesels to work every day on pavement.

A guy I work with built a "cabin" as his first house next to the pond on his families land. He put this stuff on the bottom half of his interior walls. Looked pretty good. Guy was in his 20's. Made a nice bachelor pad.

Building hunting blinds/shelters, at low cost.

These are not intended to last forever, and need to be low-cost since they are left in place and (potentially) ruined by others.

So you're saying it's for rednecks.

Hey, I resemble that remark :lol_hitti

It beats being a Californian though ;)

In all seriousness though, I like the stuff. I've never seen it in person though. In the near future we are going to be building a new barn on the farm. There will be a lean-to for the tractor, a shop area for hot rod building and car/truck/machinery repair, along with a guest quarters. I like the outdoors (hunting and fishing). We had already thought of decorating the guest quarters like a cabin we stayed at on a vacation to Wisconsin. I'm thinking a knotty pine wainscoating and this on the upper walls with some deer and fish mounted might look pretty cool.

Thanks for showing me this.
