When should I pull up the masking tape?

I masked the whole wall/floor edge. I have only got primer done and am wondering if I should pull off the masking before I put the 100 % solids epoxy on the floor. I am worried that the tape won't come off cleanly when I take it off.

If I leave it on when and how should I take it off?
I used Gorilla tape.

I just did my floor and pulled up the tape after each application. It looked great. However I didn't tape the wall...as I am going to caulk.

as soon as the paint's tacky.
even that fancy-schmantzy "frog tape" will allow paint to bleed a wee bit under the edges if you leave it on too long. (and that was with interior latex.)

I use the blue 3M stuff. works dandy. pull it between coats.

If you don't pull the tape before it gets too tacky, the tape underneath will become part of the floor.

I pulled it up right after I finished broadcasting the flake. It came right off and looks great. I was afraid it would become part of the floor as Shea mentioned.
