Is there a way to tell if someone has quoted you on here without having to look through the entire thread? If not there should be a notification so you can respond or defend yourself.

Feeling a bit self conscious are we?

I've never seen someone quote anyone outside of a thread you're active in. What's the big deal.

Are you familiar wit Ctrl+F

If it is just one thread pull it up, hold Ctrl and press F. Enter a few words used in your quote and it will find them in the thread.

Are you worried the moderators aren't paying you your residuals? I tracked it for a while and they were always spot on with my checks, so I stopped tracking it.

Lol I'm not worried about anything or anyone. I was just curious. Sometimes people answer questions I ask, but because I'm lazy I don't always read all 4 pages in the thread and miss them. The defense comment was just for fun. Come on now. I'm 30 years old. This stuff doesn't bother me!

If you use Tapatalk, there is a notification tab that shows when you have been quoted

Yea that's what I want. I didn't like tapatalk when I tried it though.

It takes a little while to get used to, but it's the only way that I can look at it on my phone. The garage journal website just doesn't go well on an iPhone. Or any screen that small for that fact. I really like it because it has an unread section which will show you all unread post from any subform.

I get quoted some, But this is the internet, Don't do or say any thing that you would not want your grandmother to see or read.

I am actually quoted in the TapTalk example pic a few posts up and no one told me...

You guys obviously don't understand. When I ask a question mid thread and someone quotes me, I don't want to have to look through 3 pages of stupid comments like this just to find the answer. It would be easier to see a notifications list like on tapatalk.

I do understand - I had the same question you did, just never asked it. I was being cynical in my reply because I don't get quoted too often and I was quoted in the example posted.

I use Taptalk just for the notification

Somebody may not be quoting you when they give you an answer. So if you are only looking for your quote, you might miss you answer.
