When was Craftsman -VVF- Made?

Trying to track down about when this ratchet was made, and dont see it on the list in the other thread. Any ideas? -VVF-

Looks to be older stuff to me. Cman used to use the word Forged on it's older stuff. How old? Not sure. Sorry I know that's not much help.

My Craftsman breaker bar says forged on it. -VVJ- It's a few years old but I don't know if old enough to be one of the good ones. It doesn't say anything about wearing eye protection on it which I think the new ones do.

I want to say VVJ is from 2004 or somewhere around there.

The eye protection thing is simply a liability deal, I'm sure somewhere along the way they were sued and now put that on their tools. Has nothing to do with quality going down.
