nothing else will do! Fixing a Kitchen Aid mixer for one of our pub employees (it was her grandmother's). That hole had wallowed out, allowing the head unit to shake up and down. I'm building up a pad of Permatex Cold Weld one thin layer at a time. Once it sets fully (tomorrow), I'll file it down and she'll be good for another few decades!
I gotta admit, my 1911 Reed 404 1/2 spends most of its time just sitting on the end of my bench (I reckon it's earned it) looking tough, scarred and rugged, but when I need it, I need it.
