Only if I break it though normal use. I don't warranty tools for wear or if I was doing something stupid with it but, that's just me.

Years ago I had a worn out Cman screwdriver, the tip was rounded and worn. I went to return it and the lady behind the counter would not exchange it, she said it was not a broken tool. I took it home and put the tip if the screwdriver in a vise and snapped it off clean. Went back and got an exchange without a problem, go figure.

I've never warrantied a screwdriver. If they get dull, I renew the tip on a grinder. I've broken a few tips, but not driving screws, so I figure I abused it, so it's outside of warranty. Besides, I have so many screwdrivers, if I break one, I have another to back it up.

Most of the time, for phillips screws, I use a cordless drill with a phillips bit. I buy those by the replacement pack (25-30) so when one breaks or rounds off it just gets pitched.

I only warranty if the tip broke off, usually I will have a few lying around so I just grab another and toss the broken one in my box.

When it breaks.I do inspect my slotted screwdrivers once in a while, put them in the vice and true the tips up with a file.

My biggest problem is Philips tips getting rounded, Once that starts to happen, you'll play hell with difficult screws for the rest of their lives.
