I know there is a thread about this, but was dated 2008, and I know things can change.

My work does not have a Matco truck in the area, so I have to order online. Specifically, I am looking at standard combination wrenches (non-ratcheting). Does anyone know if they are made in the US, or foreign?

Also, out of curiosity, what about sockets? Looking at those nice impact swivels.
Thanks!

I think they are if they are matco, silver eagle might be Taiwan

Some of their ratcheting are Taiwan as well, made by Kabo

We just got a new truck here and the one wrench I looked at was US made (long combo) not 100% sure on the rest.

The ADV sockets are Sunex rebranded, The pinless swivel sockets are made here.

I am looking at those long combos, so good to hear. I heard those pinless swivels are pretty badass, so also nice to hear.

Pinless impacts and standard combos are made in US based Apex plants along side Armstrong tools.

All ratcheting wrenches and some other wrench types like long double box and I believe even flare wrenches are Asian.
