Twice now I have started a new thread in the Hot Deals Section about a great deal I got on a HF side cabinet and it doesn't show up on the forum. My replies to existing threads seem to work but my new ones don't. I guess this is a test also. Any ideas anyone?

I have no idea about your missing threads.

Just for the record. . The Hot Deals section is for posting deals that others might find tempting to buy, not for the deals you have bought.

Every once in a while I write up a post and then hit the back button instead of the post button. Your problem maybe?

Obviously this new thread worked so I know how to start a new thread. I wasn't sure where to put the great deal that I got without being criticized for putting it in the wrong place. I have been a member here for 9 years, I read this site almost daily but I don't post much because I don't have much of a workshop/garage yet and I don't enjoy a lot of the smart *** comments by those that ruin it for people with useful or positive comments.

I just try to ignore the comments I find distasteful.

A couple of threads for posting goodies. I try not to frequent these too much anymore as I have very little willpower in wanting to buy and buy. The Garage Sale Thread will soon roll over into the 2018 edition; I'm probably mistaken, but I think they go back to 2014.
