And they are made in Taiwan.

My sunex impact sockets were made in Taiwan and I believe all of their stuff is made there. I think they are a great value, but don't feel quite as nice as the more expensive stuff. "Feel" does not matter AS much when the deals are great. I'm not sure about the rest of their stuff.

Mostly Taiwan. Their impact sockets are pretty durable and very inexpensive if you shop around. Sunex tool carts are rebadged and sold by most tool trucks. Their long reach pliers are worth the money. i'm not too impressed with their chrome hand tools though.

I have the wheellock removal kit and its made in Taiwan. Rebadged and sold by Snap-On, Matco, and MAC on their trucks.

I have their long pliers, they work well. Not Snap-On, but a got a 4piece set for less than the price of one snap-on, and they aren't that much worse.
As for warranty, I had two straight pliers, and no 45* pliers in the 4-piece set. I called them up, and they told me to keep the extra straight one, and in a few days, I had a 45* one at my door.

I hope I didn't make a mistake ordering a set of Sunex impact sockets.
I am picky and don't care for the finish of Snap On impact sockets (Gasp
)Just ordered today. I hope they aren't the same as most grainy sockets. I really like the texture of Ingersoll rand sockets..

The Ingersoll Rands are alot smoother than sunex, but thier not bad

All of my impacts are Sunex, no manufacturing deffects to date. I've worn out a few and my dealer replaced them no questions asked. I have metric and standard deep, shallow, swivel in all drive sizes up to 1/2" w/ a few 3/4". There extremely durable and an excellent value. Its usually cheaper in the long run to purchase the master sets. Either way you can't go wrong... GL

Does anybody have grey pneumatic and sunex impacts? which one is better if so.
essentially the same thing. my only gripe with GP is they dont engrave/stamp the sizes into the metal, its just etching so given enough time and abuse you wont be able to read the size on the socket. Its large etching though and easy to read so for the at home mechanic it will serve well enough. Likewise there are sizesin the molded case if you store them in it. Sunex does both etching and and engraving.
One other big fault i have with GP is they stipulate that all warranties should go through dealers, if you're a consumer they'll ignore you. Sunex will mail you new sockets if you break them. Course this isnt a huge deal either since they're so cheap.

thanks skin. i like the price of sunex enough to get the SAE set and maybe try some universals
My thoughts exactly.... As long as its strong/durable and made to spec, i could care less how it feels.

I bought sunnex sockets from my snap on guy a 10 years ago, and they were such junk, i tossed them in my junk pile. yes they were warrantied, but not worth the trouble of the junkyness they are...

i also strongly suggest the GP sockets. i have no sunnex but would not hesitate from buying sunnex if their was a dealer for them around here! They both are quality products tho
