I try to buy USA 🇺🇸 made tools and to that end, my Makita 14.4 drills were made in Buford, Ga. My Milwaukee 0299-20 drill, 3107 angle drill, jigsaw and 6521-21 sawzall are made in usa(still can’t believe they’re not anymore) a USA made porter cable 1/2 angle drill(another brand ruined...) my r/o sander craftsman industrial a.k.a Dewalt usa, Black and Decker quantum pro hammer drill and 3/8 corded drill.

Next choice made in Germany 🇩🇪 like my Metabo angle drill, my Metabo made Ridgid drill and hammer drill

Made in Switzerland 🇨🇭 Bosch 1/2corded drill

Made in England 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 Makita 4305 jigsaw

The rest are China 🇨🇳 and Japan 🇯🇵,not that I have a problem with it like I said, it’s a preference.

I have a Milwaukee corded drill that I bought off the shelf at Home Depot about a dozen years ago that was made in the USA... don't see that any more.

I have some Bosch told that are all made in Switzerland or Germany.

I just got a Bosch Starlock corded oscillating saw and it was made in Hungary. Picked up a Milwaukee small parts organizer and it's made in Israel.
It's a small world for everything, I ordered Pizza Hut on the phone today and the order was taken by a guy in India.

Newest ones Milwaukee cordless are all China, and all less than 5 years old

but older tools corded and cordless Makita drills saws and screwguns are Japan.

The old Ryobi 10"chop saw and most my old Craftsman, sanders, router, jigsaw are all USA including my 7 1/2 radial arm trim saw, though the small craftsman 10" portable table saw is Taiwan. My powerhouse Craftsman Industrial grinder is Japan though go figure that but the Craftsman Industrial pancake air compressor just says Sears and Roebuck Chicago Illinois, maybe it's wore off :headscrat and the Ryobi variable temp heat gun is China. All of this stuff is a minimum of 20 years old now

My PC air tools framing nailer and crown stapler are Taiwan, the off brand 16 ga finish nailer Nu Max and the HF 2 n1 brad nailer/stapler are both China

SCARY!! If you buy at Burger King, you are supporting a Canadian company; they moved out a couple of years ago. Your Oreos are made by that Mexican company, Nabisco.

Burger King's HQ is in Florida. They're owned by a US private equity company (3G Capital), that also bought out Tim Horton's. The holding company for both is in Canada.

Before anyone gets too "never PRC", what about phones? computers? shoes/boots? tvs? anything at the dollar store? a lot at the big box stores? the list goes on and on...

I wish it wasn't that way, but it is and you can't pretend it's not.

Just to be sure, I NEVER step foot in Dollar store, Harbor Frieght etc etc. I go out of my way to buy American, which includes looking at packaging, doing internet searches or when needed, which is often, buying used. Buying used, is this very computer I'm using, my phone is a rotary dial, no lie. Boots are American made, other shoes not so much. The difference here is that most people bury their heads under a rock, others don't give a ****, but for me, it's a matter of principle, and so I'm proud as an American, who does sell MY product to Americans, to support MY country, by employing American workers, the 2 that I do have. I talk the talk, and I walk the walk. When I see others like me, I know that they support my business. It IS after all, my life support!

I think my Milwaukee corded 4.5" angle grinder is hecho en Mexico.
Milwaukee M18 drill, 1/4 hex impact, oscillating multi tool = China
Milwaukee 6365 corded circular saw = USA? It does not explicitly state where on data sticker.
Milwaukee Sawzall = "Made in USA of US and foreign components"
Skil 825 worm drive circular saw = USA
