Does anyone know who sells a decent floor squeegee?
The one I have now is just about worn out .
I bought it about 10 years ago from Griots Garage and it has worked great.
It is two strips of foam like material that really conform to my uneven garage floor.
Unfortunately Griots doesn't sell them anymore.
The HD, Lowes, Menards floor squeegees are all made with hard rubber strips that don't work very well. Any suggestions?

I just picked one up from my local farm fleet on clearance. You have Mills fleet-farm up there, they should have a good one. Got mine from Theisons here in IA. TSC should have one also.

I picked up a good one at Home Depot a few years ago and I'm very satisfied with it. The rubber is about 5/16" thick and held by a solid steel bracket that attaches to a tapered wooden broom handle. I use it to push snow and slush out of my garage all winter, and rain water out of my gazebo as necessary. The rubber has stayed flexible even on the coldest days. Both surfaces I use it on are relatively flat and pretty smooth. If your floor is not as smooth, then the Home Depot model might not work as well.

Recently I've seen some automobile snow removal tools that have a traditional ice scraper on one end and a foam squeegee on the other end for pulling/pushing snow off the top, hood, and trunk of a car. The model I have extends about four feet and the foam squeegee is 16" wide. It's a little more pliable than the rubber squeegee I described above. I don't see any reason why it wouldn't work on an uneven floor. The foam is fairly rigid, but still conforms to the contours of my car to remove snow without scratching the paint. This thing might work on your garage floor. I got it at a Tractor Supply store in southwest Michigan. Good luck.

Sometimes they dont have everything in your local stores. You could order it online though. If you need something right away, the janitorial supply suggestion is a good one.

I bought one that I would describe pretty much like that from HD a few years ago. It works great.

Looking at the picture of the "Moss rubber" one, that's the one I bought. Didn't come with a handle.

i get them from work. they work well until the ****** spot welds that hold the head to the clamp for the handle break. they only cost a few bucks but my job buys thousands of them a year. its actually usa made too!
