I need a m15-1.50 pitch flat socket head bolt. Any suggestions? These are for the ends of my dumbbell handles. I thought they were 5/8", but they are metric.

I once got desperate enough just go buy a 5/8 bolt from Homedepot and file it down to 15MM on a drill press and a file then re-tap to M15x1.5
Some VW MKIV wheel lug bolts are M15x1.5 (some not all) since there are few sizes apparently... and it's $20 a bolt...

Fastenal is almost guaranteed to have it. They have never not had a weird bolt or but I needed.

I checked BelMetric and they do not have a 15mm socket head bolt. All they have is the one shown in a link several posts above. Are you sure it is 15mm? That is a really weird size metric bolt.

How about posting if you found a solution?

The GJ answer is....
Go buy a lathe and a mill
Machine yourself new billet stainless handles and use SAE fasteners.

Throw the old ones into the scrap bin where they can be cobbled into something else later

DIN (and Swedish SMS 2 ) screw standard. Normal thread does not exist in M15x1,5.
Fine Pitch (SMS 323) is available as M15x1,0
