Where can rebar be bought?

What stores/sources sell rebar? Any idea of pricing etc.

Looking to make some burglar bars for the shop.

Break-ins and crime in this area has gone through the roof; most likely caused by the eviserated economy in this area.

Home Depot,Lowes,Any local lumber yard that sells concrete products.

i usually get it from the concrete company.

You can usually purchase it form any rebar company. A quick search of the yellow pages should yield some results. Sometimes you can find it at places like Home Depot. I used hot rolled 1/2" square stock for by bars. It's probably cheaper than rebar and looks better IMO.

I've gotten some from the local scrap yard.
