Awhile ago two-three months ago I was reading a thread on something along the lines of how did they-you afford your garage/toys was a good read but didn't have time to read it all can anyone steer mt back to the thread?

You should try the search feature first. If it was originally posted in the free parking section, search doesn't work. Going back through all the pages might be your only option.

The search function works fine, same as any other BB system.

The owner made that policy long ago. You CAN however search free parking using Google or any other search engine. Just include "garage journal" in the search terms.

Actually, for a google search, you can do:

site: garagejournal.com search terms, where "search terms" equals whatever you are searching for, to do a site specific search.
