Found nothing in those exact specs.
Never replaced this type of battery. So don’t know where to find. Any help ?

Any 18650 will work fine, don't need the exact same specs. Most will have a higher mA rating which will mean it will last longer between charges.

Yep, any 18650 battery will do the trick.

They come in "protected" and "unprotected" varieties; this one is "protected", meaning it has a wee circuit that keeps things from getting burny and explody if something goes wrong. You definitely want protected for this light.

You can get high-quality, higher-capacity Panasonic, Samsung, LG, etc. batteries from many different sources, and the light will last longer.

However, fake Chinese cells are all over the place and hard to avoid on Amazon or fleaBay. Stick with a reputable supplier that can verify authenticity of the brand you're buying.

People who are into vaping are absolutely obsessive about these cells. Your light isn't that demanding, so any decent cell will do just fine; you don't need to spend a lot.

Locally, I'd stop by the local vape shop, found on any strip mall or corner, and they'll set you up with a few cells and maybe a charger.

On t'intarwebs, I'm not sure what's the most reputable shop nowadays, so I'll let someone else answer that.

Samsung and LG make some reliable 18650's

Since Panasonic bought the battery division from Sanyo they pretty much own the market. Samsung does produce some good cells though.

Please buy a quality battery, those 18650s can get a little violent when not treated right. I have been using these guys for several years, great product and great customer service.

Its OXY-***** like; "Buy quality" ..to put in HF LED Light

Jokes aside - thank you for the links. These looks quality.

Ah those well informed, infamous Vapers. Gotta luv em :lol_hitti

This info is helpful, I appreciate it.

Having a hard time getting myself to buy one on the more expensive side. "Expensive" to me in this particular situation is around $15 - which is, what, half the price of the LED light from HF itself lol!

You can harvest good 18650 Li-Ion batteries from computer battery packs. Many brand new laptops no longer come with a removable/replaceable battery any more, but your older one laying around most certainly has many good cells in it as usually only one bad cell causes the battery pack not to work anymore. Give it a try.

No idea about that specific vendor, but that battery should work fine, and in fact would be massive overkill for your work light. But it will last a fair bit longer than the stock 2200 mah battery.

You could spend a few bucks less for a slightly lower capacity battery if you wanted.

An extra battery or two and a charger really extend the usefulness of these lights. It'll last for hours on high, then you can just pop in another and keep working while the other recharges. You get the best of both worlds, and I don't know why more work lights don't use replaceable rechargeable cells.

What with shipping, you might spend less in total at a local vape shoppe.

Got any dead 18V LiIon tool battery packs? Usually only one cell is shot. Find a good cell and pilfer it from the pack.

I have a Canadian Tire light that I like and the grandson was playing with it until dead, so now it will not accept a charge [I have no idea what position the switch is in (Spot, Flood, or off where it needs to be to charge)and likely damaged the battery] mine is an 18500 with a "Chip" on the side I found many online [both come up in the search and look the same], even a few at a good price but with shipping (2x the battery price, $25 for a battery in a $10 light) I didn't bite, new light is different so replacement is a less desirable choice. So Thanx for the tip on Vaping Shops, you can't swing a dead cat without hitting one of those here now, I'll give one a try in the near(ish) future. Thanx Again Harry!
