I was going to buy one on northern tools but it 60 bucks shipping and dont wana pay that much if I dont have to. Anyone know of any stores that sell them in New York?
Where do they sell BlackHawk jacks?

The New Blackhawk stuff is no different that the HF jacks or Sears, They are no longer made in the USA. As far as where to buy locally im not aware of any local stores that carry them anymore.

Great advice as usual, Hiball. I have a 3 ton blackhawk bottle jack made in Japan, and it's a fine performer for little stuff, but that's as far I know about the blackhawk brand.

Oh, I did not know that, my dad has a nice one made in the USA. What are other good floor jacks for around 300 bucks?

I have 3.5 ton NAPA Professional jack that I bought about 2 years ago for about $220 on sale.
Very well made with wide rollers and footprint. Not sure where it was made but totally satisfied with it.
You can find Hein Werner HW93642's occasionally around that price but it generally takes a sale. Alot of people will comment that they are not truly american because they are owned by Shinn Fu which is a Overseas company if you havent figured that out yet. They are in Fact produced here in the states using the same Hydraulic technology that was first used back in the 30's initially by Walker Jack Mfg. I know Sears sometimes has them on sale and that cuts down on shipping account there is generally a sears store around every corner. The Milwaukee version is gonna run you a bit more and is also a great choice and is manufactured here in the states. Both of those jacks are Quality Units and Rebuild kits are readily availabe when the time comes down the road. If a person is wanting to watch there pennies i always recommend buying a used quality American jack and rebuilding it yourself. I can source almost every kit available and if you have any questions about a possible purchase dont hesitate to give a shout via Pm, etc..

The Napa jacks along with the higher priced Blackhawks are essentially the same jack. The only problem i have with them is they are not renewable tools, When i say that i mean that they are not designed to be taken apart, rebuilt and put back together. The metal is not as thick, The threads are not as durable, The seals are harder to track down and not near the quality of the Higher end stuff. If a person doesnt have a problem with Buying New every few years its a great option. I prefer to buy a quality product 1 time and get a lifetimes worth of use out of it by being able to source Hard and Soft parts, Especially when your comparing $220 to $350 Max for a HW93642. Napa used to sell Walker and Lincoln jacks, When lincoln sold out to HW they stopped carrying them and went strictly to a Import Line.

blackhawk is by proto...which is stanley.
any stanley dealer can get this jack for you im sure.
grainger sells a lot of blackhawk stuff but i did not see a jack on there site.
i have bought stuff from grainger not on there site, and they got it.
so walk into grainger and ask for them to order.
just goto the stanley proto website and look at the blackhawk stuff. and then bring the info to grainger.

Not to Argue but Blackhawk tools and Blackhawk Automotive are 2 different companies. Blackhawk Automotive (Jacks) has been a part of Porto-Power for along time and is currently owned by Shinn Fu, Last i knew the Blackhawk Automotive floor jack line was on the way out and they was soley focusing on the other Hydraulic lines via Porto Power.

ok, i just looked at stanleys website for proto and blackhawk, and came up with no kind of jacks.
