Where do you point your overhead heater louvers?

i just got a 100k Hot Dawg installed in my 30x40 with 10' ceiling pole barn. I will keep it 40 when not in there and 60 when in there. The 75k would probably have been enough but I need it around 68 when spraying waterborne wood finishes. It is in a corner and pointing at the diagonal corner.

I have louvers that adjust up and down and wondering where others point theirs? Do you adjust just above your head or like being in the warm breeze? I'm sure it will be trial and error but wondering what others like?

You might want to point the heater down a wall to get a circular flow going. Also, if your spraying you might not want air flow going over something just sprayed.

Where are your registers in your house located? Under the windows, right? Therefore you should point the heater at the garage door, that is where most of your heat loss will come from. The farthest point of the garage will be warm if you keep the coldest part warm.

Heater is already mounted and pointing towards the wall with garage door. What I'm looking for are any tips on adjusting airflow up and down using the louvers.

Slight downward if mounted high ... but, you said the heater was pointed to the diagonal corner? The heater is blowing across the room, not down or parallel to a wall ... right? That to me would be the biggest issue. Heat is going to spread out, so channeling it down a wall should allow it to spread through out the room better ... maybe .. I think
