Where do you store your bits?

I just got a new Milwaukee M18 combo so I can finally give up the old Craftsman C3 drills.

The Craftsman had 2 bit holders built in, which is nice because I often switch from #2 Phillips to T-25 Torx to Deck screw phillips.

So with only one bit holder, where do you keep your bits? I wish they made a bit holder that could screw on to where you attach the belt hook. I'll probably never use the belt hook.

Just read the reviews on Amazon for that kit. It says if you use 50mm bits at all the holder only really works for 25's. The longer oned fall out or get bumped out of the holder :headscrat.

Yeah I generally use the shorter bits in a but holder for two reasons. First, they're usually cheaper. And second, the 25mm bits are what generally comes in a box of deck screws.

I just keep a couple of the 50mm bits in the tool bag in case I have to fit into any tight spaces. They are shorter in the impact since no bit holder is needed.

And if anyone has brand new Milwaukee stuff like I do (finally retired the old C3!), I just confirmed with them that the newest models are compatible with the older part numbers for these things.

Mine should be delivered by Christmas!

These things should really be included with the drills though.
