Where does this MaxJax part go?

When I received the parts box for my MaxJax 2 post lift, I noticed that the assembly instructions do not mention what part 16 (item 16) is for.

Part/Item 16 is: External Ring Truarc X5133-50 (Drg# 17207065) (2 pcs)- they look like 2 small wedding rings

Anyone have any ideas?

Call Dannmar technical service 1-877-432-6627 the IOM that came with my MaxJax doesn't even show that part at all.

Just a wild guess, are there any clips holding the two wheels onto the cart?

That part is a 1/2" "E" clip. As suggested is the wheels on a 1/2" axle? Or are the handles retained to prevent them from sliding? Are there any 1/2" components that it would fit?

Or, maybe, somewhere, someone is silently laughing while imagining the poor guy trying to figure out where the two extra parts he threw in the box go!

I vaguely remember using spacers for the wheels on the cart. I don't know if that was just my best guess though.
