matco tool guy hasn't been around for 6 weeks , rumor has it he is out of bussiness
he had been coming in for bout a year give or take a few monthes
is it really that hard to make a living selling tools?
seems with the start up costs , the last thing you want to do is call it quits...
he seemed like he was doing good ,hell he got plenty of my money.....
dealers please give some insight as to how this line of work goes
since i work afternoons the only other dealer who is willing to stop by is cornwell , and we do not get along , cause he tried to stiff me on warrenty awhile back
i really hate to see someone fail in bussiness i tried to spend as much as i could with matco
hell i even wanted to get a new box but he was pretty tight on the pricing so no deal was made

it is hard to tell. The last MAC guy called it quits friday, he also claimed to be the number one dealer in the world, so I do not see how he could be hurting. He is headed to Afghanistan to work as a contractor.
He tried to go independent from MAC which really hurt him. He had broken tools all over the county and guys didnt want to buy brand x from him when he still owed them tools.
the guy might have gone through a divorce or something like that. The matco guy here cuts his own throat just to sell a box. He drops down to the bottom on pricing for everyone.
