I'm getting ready to have my garage built and will be putting pex in the slab. I am having trouble locating the 4x8 sheets I'll need to place before the pour. I've done some searching, and it appears that I'll be needing to spend about $30 a sheet. (I know some of you have found sweet deals.) But deals or not, I need the product. Homo Depot and Lowes are out of stock everywhere around me. Menards are 250 miles away. Any leads???

BTW, what's the difference in Owens Corning Foamular F-150 and F-250 besides a buck? I'll be buying 45 sheets in total.

The foamular 150 is 15 psi. The 250 is 25 psi. I used 15 for the perimeter. Put it 2 feet down vertically. Put the 250 on the floor itself. I have around 3000 bucks in it. I got all mine at Menards. They would have a sale on occasion. 24 bucks a sheet compared to 27 for the 4x8 2 inch. No Menards near you does t help though. Good luck

When I built my garage I bought all my foam from my local lumber yard. I priced it at Menards and Home Depot only to find out it was about the same price locally. I do get Contractor price however so that helped but the big savings came in the free delivery. I did haul some myself but the lumber yard is 2 miles from my house versus 35-40 for the box stores. 45 sheets of 2 inch foam is a very tall load to haul, almost eight feet. It's tricky to strap down foam board.

Thanks for the replies. I gave up on getting some suggestion/help. I'm going to let the concrete guys figure it out with their bids. ;)
