Hey guys...

I live in Massachusetts, (Cape Cod area), and want to buy a bendpak lift, (an HD9 more than likley) and was wondering if anyone can direct me to the closest "Bendpak" dealer?

It's just that I would rather look at one before I buy, OR at least talk to a dealer in person before I was to order. A little driving wont hurt me, so if you know some places, please feel free to tell!

Hope you guys can help!

Thanks. Dave.

where do you live? my pops is an installer and a dealer in southern ca

Maybe if you took the time to read the OP's post you'd realize that he's from Mass. Probably pretty close to Cape Cod. Hope your Pops pays more attention to detail.

I bought my bendpak 2 post lift online at www.asedeales.com. Did a lot of looking and found the best deal thru them and the shipping was free. You need a way to get it off the truck or like I did picked up at the closest yellow freight port(which was 9 miles from me). I also bought my compressor from the also. The also sell 4 post lifts.

Hi. You can contact BendPak via their website (www.bendpak.com) and they will give you a list of the closest dealers in your area. I'd help you out as a dealer of theirs but I'm in NJ. There is not an online dealer locator so unfortunately it will require a phone call to the company directly. Good luck!

Thanks for all the responses!

I expected there was nothing close to me, but oh well.

There is a place on E-BAY called "Metro Lifts" located out of california and they seem to be a good company...100% feedback...has anyone here dealt with them?

Again, any help would be appreciated!

Dave.

it seems like bendpak are all sold from the factory with a lot of middleman taking the orders, most have the same price, and delivery is from the factory. I got mine from e-lift.com But you can buy from bendpak too.

edit: sorry e-autolift.com

I can highly recommend www.asedeals.com as a very good dealer. It really doesn't matter where you buy it from, since most are shipped from the California facility. Usually takes about 2 weeks for delivery. I had mine delivered to the local lumber yard, and paid them to bring it to my home and set in in the driveway. If you are thinking of a 4 post HD9, I know of one in West Brookfield, that the owner could probably be persuaded to let you look at. If you want to see mine, I am just outside of Southbridge MA (20 minute drive from the I84 exit on the MA pike). I have the HD9XW. They are great lifts and easy to install. Send me a telephone number in a PM and we can talk.. Junk...

I also bought my HD-9 from Brian at www.asedeals.com. Brian was very courteous and responsive and is very knowledgeable with the whole BendPak line. Getting the thing home is the biggest part of the transaction. I had mine delivered to a friends warehouse and then rented a U-Haul trailer ($39.99/day) to bring it home from their. Then with the help of a rented engine hoist ($50/day from MaxRentals) I was able to lift the ramps with ease during the install. Anyway, wish you were closer. If you're coming out to Chicagoland any time soon just send me a pm and I'll show you my lift. Best of luck!

Wow...you guys are great! Fast replys!

Junkman & ovilla, thanks for the invites! You guys rock!

I will get a lift as soon as my garage is done, which im hoping is about another week or two...then a little wait for the floor to dry.

Maybe I can post some pics...its not like some of the garages that are on this forum, but way better than I had thats for sure!

You don't mention if you are looking for delivery and installation or not. Another option to consider is Garage Equipment Corporation in Wilmington, MA. They do primarily commercial and residential lift installation. Jack has sold, installed, and serviced hundereds of lifts. They have been dealing with Bendpak for a long time.

I recently purchased an HD9 from them along with installation and was pleased with their service. I opted to have them deal with all of the delivery and installation issues. One of the main benefits to me was that they install and service what they sell. Garage Equipment has employees that handle everything from taking delivery, installing, and dealing with any problems that might come up.

Garage Equipment does not stock lifts. Like most, they order exactly what their customers want. That way, you also get the latest version of a particular model. If you would like to see an HD-9, feel free to PM me and we can set something up. I'm located in Sudbury, MA.

Good luck with your search.
