I bought mine at ecomfort.com. I bought an Electro EMB-S7. Was recommended by a guy who installs this type of system for a living. It's what he uses.

A lot of in floor heat set-ups in southwest Manitoba use the Lion brand of electric boilers. I don't know anything about prices but they are manufactured in Winnipeg which may help down the road for parts/service etc.

Yes thanks, I have read as well that they are manufactured here and are really good units. I was thinking I could probably find something Stateside which would be a little easier on the budget. I've even heard that it's cheaper to pick up the Lion boilers in the US but haven't found anything yet.

We install Electro made here in Minnesota and we also like the Thermolec when in the mood for a Canadian flavor.

Proper size and installation are the most important aspects of any boiler installation. And don't forget the chemistry.
