Working on an old Marvel #2 draw cut saw, a bunch of bolts have rusted the threads off. No way to reuse.
The square heads are part of the way the machine works. Have to use square head bolts.
Trouble is, I can buy them on ebay but I have to buy $20 to $30 worth of each. Anyone know of a store that sells them individually?
I'd hate to have to spend $70 and have a bunch of bolts I'll never use or never sell on ebay laying around.

Just head up north a few miles to Parkrose Ace hardware. They have nearly the largest selection of H/W I've ever seen. Square head bolts will not be a problem.

Mcmaster.com has a pretty good selection of square head bolts. I don't know the grade or quantities you need but maybe the quantities they come in from Mcmaster will work.

Another local place is, http://www.portlandbolt.com/ . I'm not sure they do retail though. As Wamsutta asked, is this a common bolt or is it special in the shank/head size? Are these bolts threaded into a casting or do they have a nut that is tightened on them so that you can get the head oriented correctly?

If the heads are special can you make a square nut and use it on a stud? I'd be glad to help with machine work if needed.

Try bolt depot. They have a ton of stuff and usually ship the same day. For metric bolts belmetric is great.

Bolt depot doesn't have square head. McMaster-Carr sells them in packages of 5-25, which may work out well depending on how many you need.

I just checked. Fastenal shows them. If you have a local branch, even at their often high prices, a few pieces should be no problem
