Will you please share suggestions or point out to a couple links that sells plastic storage boxes for fair prices?

I'm looking to buy a several storage boxes to organize the clutters in the garage, about 10 boxes. No way I'm paying more than 15 a piece. I've seen some crappy boxes go for more than 50 a piece--Anyone could have used that money to build themselves nice shelves or cabinets.

Similar to this,

Many thanks in advance.

I can check some catalogs when I get home but for under $15 each your best bet will probably be rubbermaid type totes. Have you checked craigslist in your area for used ones?

I found a local guy that sells used barrels, he also sells all kinds of totes and bins. I got some like those, except they were shorter, but that helps keep them from getting overloaded. His price was $6 each, they did have one hole drilled in them for some reason. They were used in a medical supply house. Very heavy-duty and new ones were like $30 or more. Check your local craigslist for used barrels, then ask them if they sell totes or anything like that.

I got soem from a former employer. They wer sent parts in them second hand and had no way to return them. I got a pass for them and took them home.

Some places that have stock sent inthem are charged a deposit on them. Check and see if you can pay the deposit fee and take them home.

On Google they are called:

attached top tote bins

I doubt that gets you any nearer the price point you are looking for, but may help in your search.

Not quite as heavy duty but Walmart and Target frequently have Sterlite storage containers on sale especially around holidays. Less than $10 each.

I've found out there is a BIG difference between the consumer versions of these and the more industrial/commercial versions. I see lots of short track race teams use the better ones to store, haul parts and pieces and equipment and they appear to be indestructible.

I buy the consumer ones, try to take good care of them and not abuse and they eventually break.

I use the ones from Costco--granted they aren't as heavy duty as the ones you posted but they serve me well.

I use the Sterilite or Rubbermaid versions for my camping gear. I had stuff stored outside all year in a Rubbermaid one, and after all the rain and snow, the stuff was dry as a bone. There were a couple spiders inside them, but nothing else. I've since made room in my basement for the stuff, but the containers are still ok (although a little faded from the UV light).
And to boot, the ones I got (from WalMart) are all US made.

Walmart, $5 each. Quite strudy, good handles, and the lid snaps securely.

The ones referenced are strong, but leak and let bugs in.

I have twenty five or thirty of them, all acquired through auctions or Craigslist ads.
Stores use them for merchandise (Walgreens, CVS, Target, etc.)
They are often called "flip-top totes" when advertised.
The commercial ones are so much sturdier and better built than the consumer grade ones that they are worth paying more for, but I have never paid more the $5 apiece and have some fairly large/deep ones.
You can see a bunch of them in this picture, stacked on the shelf on the left, and the deep green ones on the floor and the far shelf.
