Seems like an awful expensive alternative to a sheet of plywood...

Another thing to consider is that your garage rafters may or may not be designed to hold loads. Storing a few boxes of Christmas ornaments up there probably won't be a problem, but think twice about filling up the rafters with heavy car parts.

I cut plywood sheets in half, to make 2 by 8 foot pieces. I was able to get them into my attic that way. I used screws to fasten them so I could remove them easily to access wiring or whatever. If the opening is too small, there's not much point in having a floor up there anyway.

that worked great you guys found a better price how about for this i do have a 15% off coupon but any one know where i can get a better deal http://www.griotsgarage.com/catalog.jsp?L1=L1_3000&L2=L2_3020&L3=L3_3021&SKU=WS900

I think we talked about this before...find an out of state dealer (or in state like Ultgar) and pickup the pieces from the factory for even more savings. Did you ever get in touch with my contact? Like I said, I saved 21% off list when I bought my Lista stuff. I think you said you were going to spend 15K right? 15K * 21% = $3K+ savings

Thanks for the responses guyz.

I was looking at them as an alternative to plywood, thinking that they would just be easier to move around. They're for my attic in my house where I would use them just to get around in tight spaces.

has anybody used those panels

I bought a few packages of them to try above my garage. They work as advertised - but it's certainly more expensive than using plywood or traditional decking. It does look nice, and it's easy to trace wiring/etc underneath them.
