I have a 1/2" drive pneumatic Ingersoll Rand Impact, the socket retaining ring is buggered up and wont hold the socket. I've been looking on the IR sites and cant find anything. Its just a steel split ring.
Any ideas where to get one??

A 1/2 drive is all the same so any dealer or tool store that sells the keeper rings will work.

:+1: on the just clips.

In fact if you have a lot of air or cordless impacts and extensions, get the JCP135 kit that comes with an assortment of 1/4, 3/8, and 1/2 clips and o rings along with a nifty insertion anvil and a set of pliers that can help with removal and deburring.

I replaced the retaining ring on my M12 3/8" drive impact using the Justclip kit after I stuck a chrome socket on the anvil and ripped the o-ring out. Works great and makes installation a snap.
