I a have a vintage Utility Metal Products Store Master cabinet. I went to clean it out the other day and realized there was a second shelf that was hidden on the floor of the cabinet. I'd love to use it, but the clips are missing. I'm normally pretty good at finding this type of thing, but they are not a standard design and I'm coming up empty. The company is no longer around.

I would use one to fabricate some. It looks pretty easy except for that small offset that was punched and bent. That part I'd braze onto the clips I made.

I know these are a different style, but if you think they may help, I can send you a dozen.

Two weeks ago, I removed my double hung sashes and painted them; they're wood, built in 1979. There is a very thin weatherstrip on the top sash that seals between the sashes when they're closed. My w/s's were bad, and the company is out of business. We searched online and found another company that suppplies the w/s in 8' lengths, showed pix and dimensions of each of their w/s.

Did you do a search for clips for that company? You may find another that makes repo's or duplicates.

I did. That's how I found out when they went out of business. All I've come up with is hardware companies that make replacements for other companies that are more current.

I looked at them, the tabs area too big for the holes in the cabinet and they're the type that the vertical sides of the shelf sit over. My shelves have a bottom flange that sits on top of the clip's horizontal surface.

Tried them already. They were nice enough to look, but had noting close. Closest I got was a four pack of clips from Metal Cabinet Store. Sandusky has two options that may work. I'm just waiting to hear back from them to find out if I order them and can't use them, they'll let me return them.

how about a picture of the track? what is the spacing of the slots?
The bottom part of the clip looks like the KV 256.

It looks like shelf clips for regular everyday metal track would work, but they would not be as tall.

This was my first thought as well after looking at the original pictures LS6 Tommy posted.

The original brackets are taller, but they seem to have the same bottom section tang as regular metal track shelf brackets do.

The originals also seem to have the upper little detent thing that goes into the metal track holes like regular clips. The original clips would grab a metal track hole up higher versus grabbing the metal track hole immediately above the bottom tang like on regular clips.

Tommy, try to see if regular metal track clips will work. Go to your kitchen or perhaps a closet and see if the shelves there are held up by the regular clips. If so, borrow one from a non-heavy shelf and see if it fits in your garage cabinet.

If so, your good to go on getting some regular clips from almost anywhere.

The only problems I would foresee with this solution is if his track has the slots spaced every two inches, to match his clips, or the tabs on the pictured bracket don't fit the slots on his track. Regular track is spaced every one inch, so if he has the one inch spaced track, and the tabs fit his track's slots, the pictured bracket would work fine.

You need 4 or 6 clips? I wouldn't waste more time.

A person could file, belt-sand, or dremel-wheel to the line those given the proper thickness and blank. Rough the blank using a larger angle grinder thin cutoff wheel.

As far as the 3-sided punch, I think it would be easy enough to make a drilled hole, bend a thin strip and intersect the two at right angles. Then weld (or braze as was suggested). Trim off the excess at the end.

If you can design the blank in a .dxf or .dwg format you can get them made at sendcutsend and not even have to source the metal.

The hooks on the clips are have are spaced on 2" centers, but the holes on the pilasters are on 1" centers and the holes are 1/4" circles. I only have basic metal working tools, nothing that allows the type of fabrication that has been mentioned.
I'm pretty sure the ones I found could be made to work.

This is them:
